Dorothy Frey received an MFA from American University in Washington, DC in 2002. She has participated in the Art Farm Residency, Nebraska, Young Artist-in-Residence at Millersville University, World Capitals Program in Corciano, Italy, and Chautauqua Institution School of Art, in NY. Recent exhibits include solo shows at Millersville University and Parlor Gallery, and group shows at Isadore Gallery, Demuth Museum, Bridgette Mayer Gallery and Gross McCleaf Gallery.
Dorothy Frey lives and works on a small farm in Willow Street, PA. In her paintings and drawings, she aims to achieve a sense of place influenced by her surroundings, her agrarian heritage, and her interest in the history of painting.
